How to nominate



There are ten categories within Scotland’s Champions including the overall Scotland’s Champion accolade. For this award, the judging panel will select one winner from the other chosen category winners who they feel should be crowned ‘Scotland’s Champion’ - no easy task!

You can nominate in more than one category however you must complete an entry form for each category you wish to nominate in.

Please read through the category descriptions and select the category you wish to nominate in from the list. Please provide as much information as you can, the more details you can provide the judges with the better understanding they can have of their achievements.


IMPORTANT INFO - PLEASE READ:

  • Your entry must be completed before the deadline at 17:00 on Monday 26th June.
  • Maximum word count of 800 is put in place for the entry box.
  • An individual/team/group/organisation can be nominated into more than one category however please tailor your entry according to the category in order to meet judges requirements.
  • Sponsoring companies are not permitted to enter the category they are sponsoring.
  • Entries can be submitted by the individual/team/group/organisation directly or by a third party (agent, client etc).
  • Successful nominations will be notified following the judging session in July.


Judging of Scotland’s Champions is conducted by an independent panel. The information provided will be collated and followed by a shortlisting by our panel.

Categories

This award welcomes submissions from individuals or teams who are NHS Scotland staff, social care professionals, or staff who work in the independent health and social care sectors. It will celebrate individuals or teams who have made an outstanding contribution to the care of the people of Scotland. Tell us about the person or team and how their care has improved people's lives and what makes them so special.

This award celebrates an individual or group who have worked tirelessly to improve the lives of people within their local communities. This could be someone who participated in community action, or who has made a huge difference through volunteering or leadership.
